Where to Find The 'True Blood' Cast at the Movies This Year

We've got where you can see the stars of HBO's vampire freakout spectacular on the big screen in the coming year.

Where to Find The 'True Blood' Cast at the Movies This Year

Last night saw the return of HBO's blood-and-sex extravaganza, True Blood. Since the series' premiere in 2008, its stars have steadily made crossover actors of themselves, moving into the realm of feature-film performers. (Of course, some of them were already there. As Anna Paquin about her Oscar sometime.) So where can they be found at the movie in the year ahead? We went and found out.

Anna Paquin
The leading lady of Bon Temps will soon be returning to her big action franchise, rejoining the X-Men films with Days of Future Past. But she'll first be co-starring with Cam Gigandet and Drea de Matteo in the 1970s drug drama Free Ride. After that, she'll co-star with Tom Hiddleston and Elijah Wood in the adaptation of the novel Black Wings Has My Angel.

Stephen Moyer
He's recently become infused with the super-vampire spirit of Lillith, at least on the TV screen. But on the big screen, he'll be taking part in the first narrative feature to be made about the West Memphis Three, co-starring with Reese Witherspoon in Devil's Knot.

Ryan Kwanten
The world's most unexpected Australian is going to be all over the movies in the year ahead. He'll join Peter Dinklage and Summer Glau in the Live Action Role Playing comedy (and latest of the apocalypse-coms), Knights of Badassdom. He'll be in the supernatural thriller 7500 from the director of the original The Grudge. And in 2014, he'll join Robert De Niro and Edgar Ramirez in the Roberto Duran biopic Hands of Stone.

Alexander Skarsgard
Gorgeous Norse God-human Alexander Skarsgard plays gorgeous Norse vampire Eric Northman in True Blood, and your best bet with him in the movies is to go see something right now, as he has starring roles in The East and What Maisie Knew. Later on, he'll be co-starring in the outbreak thriller Hidden with Andrea Riseborough, and then there are all those rumors that he's going to star in director David Yates's Tarzan movie.

Joe Manganiello
Well, if wolfman extraordinaire Alcide doesn't give you enough Manganiello to feast on, he may well show up in the latest from Terrence Malick, Knight of Cups, though ending up on the cutting room floor of a Malick movie is always a concern. He'll be teaming up with Arnold Schwarzenegger in Sabotage, director Ivan Reitman in Draft Day, and Jason Sudekis and Rose Byrne in the romantic comedy Tumbledown.

Anna Camp
Camp may well return to Bon Temps this year as spurned preacher's wife Sarah Newlin, but on the big screen, she's set to star in the directorial debut of Junebug writer Angus MacLachlan, Goodbye to All That.

Dale Dickey
The Winter's Bone star and werewolf matriarch (in True Blood, at least) is set to join Kate Beckinsale and Nick Nolte in The Trials of Cate McCall, the latest from director Karen Moncrieff (The Dead Girl).
