Nightcrawler:  Jake Gyllenhaal plays the guy who chases down breaking news stories in his car and sells them to local televison channels. Reportedly, he lost 20 pounds to play the character, whose desperation to make ends meet lands him with this unique profession. It's definitely not a movie about Nightcrawler, as portrayed by Alan Cumming in X-Men 2.

Goodbye to Language 3D: Jean-Luc Godard is the most recent auteur to jump on the 3D movie trend with Goodbye to Language, which shared the Jury prize in Cannes earlier this year. The subject matter is still elusive but supposedly, Godard, now 83, gets innovative with 3D filmmaking to superimpose one image over the other. And the dog in the movie is Godard's own!
