After a trick by Sabitha (Steinfeld) and her friend, Johanna (Wiig) believes she's sending amorous emails to Sabitha's estranged father (Guy Pearce). Previously shy and awkward, Johanna takes a new lease on life, but what will happen when the truth comes out? Based on the Alice Munro story.
