Help Fund The Sequel to TFF Alum 'The Motivation'

'The Motivation' director Adam Bhala Lough and his team are putting together 'Motivation 2.0' and need your help!

Last year's TFF selection The Motivation  followed eight of the top professional skateboarders as they prepared for the Street League Championship in NYC. The film revealed the unique pressure of being a pro-skateboarder, highlighting each of the competitor's personal struggles and triumphs as they aimed for the $200,000 winning prize. We spoke to Director Adam Bhala Lough last year about this project and he explained how filmmaking corresponds with the growth of a street skater.

His proposed sequel, however, charts the trajectory of just one pro-skateboarder - the legendary Chris Cole. From his first humble beginnings in Philadelphia to being named Thrasher Magazine's Skater of the Year (twice!) to his chartible work with inner city kids, Motivation 2.0: The Chris Cole Story is sure to be as inspirational as its prequel. Check out the promotional video here:

You can donate to the documentary's Indiegogo page here and bid on prizes like discounted movie tickets, digital downloads, and even the opportunity to skate with Chris Cole. Aspiring street skaters can bid to have their tricks broadcast to the film's audience - on the film's YouTube channel, on a huge Times Square screen, or in the movie itself. The page has less than a month to raise its goal, so donate as soon as possible!
