If the supercut style of video montage didn't exist before this year's version of The Great Gatsby, it surely would have been invented just for the occasion. Rarely is a phrase or gesture so constantly repeated (at least 43 times) that even other characters in the movie are moved to comment on its ubiquity. In honor of this week's DVD release of Baz Luhrmann's 3D spectacle, here's our supercut of every "old sport" in the movie. After a while, the "old sports" start to tell their own twisted tale of lost love, delusion, and desperation. (Or something.) Enjoy! Just don't turn this into a drinking game.
