Alex Karpovsky On the Benefits of Not Going to Film School

"Instead of paying $200,000, you can have three Heinekens and approach someone you don't know. It might be a better way to do it -- at least it was for me."

Alex Karpovsky (Girls, Rubberneck, Red Flag) didn't go to film school...but that doesn't mean he missed out. In this clip from the Future of Film conversation The Future of Playing Every Role: An Evening with Alex Karpovsky, which was held at Tribeca Cinemas on February 11th, 2013, Karpovsky talks to Filmmaker Magazine's Nick Dawson about how he found success without racking up massive debt.
