In the meantime, here are just a few of the most talked about films screening this year.

First time writer/director Ryan Gosling will premiere Lost River at the Festival. The star-studded cast includes Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan, Eva Mendes, and Doctor Who's Matt Smith.
The godfather of New Wave cinema, Jean-Luc Godard will screen Adieu au langage in competition.
Michel Hazanavicious, the Oscar-winning director of The Artist, also enters competition with The Search, which follows four people who are forever changed by 1999's Chechen War.
David Cronenberg directs Julianne Moore and Mia Wasikowska in Maps to the Stars, a film about a group of people who aspire to be Hollywood's elite.
Gaspard Ulliel plays the iconic French designer in Betrand Bonello's Saint Laurent, the second film about Yves Saint-Laurent this year.
Deux Jours, Une Nuit stars the Oscar-winning Marion Cotillard as a woman who must convince her coworkers to give up their bonuses so that she can keep her job. This film was written and directed by the two-time Palme d'Or-winning brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.
