Afdhel Aziz is the Founder and Chief Purpose Officer at Conspiracy of Love, a global purpose consultancy that partners with Fortune 500 companies including Adidas, PepsiCo, Sephora, Microsoft, Unilever, Diageo, AB Inbev and more— to grow their businesses by integrating social responsibility. He co-founded Good is the New Cool, which creates positive stories that bridge the Hope Gap. Afdhel also co-authored best-selling books such as 'Good is the New Cool: Market Like You A Give a Damn' and 'The Principles of Purpose.' He also writes 'The Power Of Purpose' column in Forbes.

Shawn Brain

Shawn Brain is the co-founder of Story + Strategy, a marketing consultancy that helps build brands through storytelling. Shawn's past experience includes leading marketing strategy and brand communications for global Fortune 500 brands including Marriott International's Global Content Studio, The Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and Nestle Purina PetCare Company's Friskies and Pro Plan brands. Shawn also serves as an adjunct instructor of Business Communication at The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.”

Adrian Flores is Vice President of Creative at The SpringHill Company, a global company founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter to create the most culturally relevant brands, entertainment, products and partnerships. Through The Robot Company, the consultancy arm of the business, Flores advises brand partners to help them authentically find their place and voice in sports, entertainment and culture.

Brendan Gaul

Global Chief Content Officer, IPG Mediabrands

Brendan Gaul is one of the world’s foremost leaders in advertising and entertainment.  As Mediabrands’ Global Chief Content Officer, Gaul is responsible for identifying and managing strategic content opportunities across the company’s investment portfolio. He also serves as Global President of Mediabrands’ indie development and production entity, TRAVERSE32. Gaul’s recent producing projects include Dear Santa, The Series which Disney announced it was acquiring for ABC and Hulu at Tribeca 2022, the 2021 Tribeca X Best Feature film winner, Dear Santa, distributed by IFC Films which Gaul produced for USPS and 5B for Johnson & Johnson.  Co-directed by Academy-Award nominee Dan Krauss, 5B was the first branded feature to ever earn, and to date, maintain a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score as well as premiere as an Official Selection at Festival de Cannes.

Stacey Kawahata

Brand/Content/Creative Strategy & Consumer Research

Stacey Kawahata has spent her career managing cultural leading brands such as lululemon, VICE, MTV, Lime and Bud Lite. As the Senior Culture Marketing Manager in NY for Redbull, Stacey leads initiatives for the brand that brings to life Red Bull through projects that shine a light on passion points that matter to Red Bull and its audiences. With a background in art, she looks to find the organic synergies of where commercial and art collide to make-up authentic storytelling that places brands at the forefront of what matters to audiences.

Angela Matusik

Founder and CEO, A.M. Stories

Angela Matusik has been creating stories for global audiences for over 25 years. Most recently, she served as HP's Head of Corporate Brand, Content and Creative, where she led a team of brand journalists and designers to bring stories to life across digital, print, and film media. At HP, Matusik produced the award-winning documentary series "History of Memory," which received the Tribeca X Award in 2019. Experienced as an editor, journalist, and digital leader, Matusik now operates A.M. Stories, a consultancy that creates brand content, films, and digital marketing for clients like Focus Features, AGBO Films, and Olivela.

Marissa Nance

Founder and CEO, Native Tongue Communications

Marissa Nance is an industry leader who spent over 30 years in advertising, investing in representation for BIPOC communities in the industry's workforce and work. In 2019, she left her position as one of Omnicom's first Black/female Managing Directors to launch Native Tongue Communications (NTC), the first and only minority and female certified media agency. NTC advocates for clients like Amazon, Nike, and McDonald's, among others. Nance serves as a protector, advisor, and champion for countless women and BIPOC individuals in the media, branded entertainment, and marketing industries.

Marcus Peterzell

Founder and CEO, Passion Point Collectiive

Marcus Peterzell leads Passion Point Collective, a top entertainment marketing agency which has guided more brand-funded films than any other independent agency. Recently awarded Gold at the Muse Awards for Small Agency of the Year, Passion Point's PPC film "Park Bench" was named Brand Funded Film of the Year by PR Week. Marcus has moderated over 50 major industry panels on entertainment marketing, including a Cannes Lions panel with Oscar Nominee Laura Dern that was live-streamed globally.

Adam Puchalsky

Adam Puchalsky began his career in account management, as a graduate of the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. His 20+ year career includes roles at JWT, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather and UM Studios serving major brands such as AT&T, FEDEX, United Airlines, Merrill Lynch, Macy’s and more. Currently, Adam has transformed Wavemaker’s boutique offering int a fundamental part of the agency with a team of ore than 600 content experts worldwide.

Sarah Squiers

Executive Vice President of Business Development, TelevisiaUnivision

Sarah Squiers is the Executive Vice President of Business Development at TelevisaUnivision, the leading Spanish-language media and content company in the world. She is responsible for developing the company's business strategy and leading the team that manages its multiplatform portfolio. Working closely with senior leaders, Squiers creates fully integrated and trackable programs for clients seeking to engage with Hispanic audiences. With over 15 years of experience at Univision, she has brought numerous new business accounts across various industries, contributing to meeting sales goals while interacting with Hispanic consumers in culture and language.

Brian Toombs

Head of Content, Roku

Brian serves as Head of Content for the Roku Brand Studio, partnering with advertisers to create entertainment built for TV streaming. RBS projects include long form documentary series, talk shows, scripted comedy, short films, animation and much more. Prior to Roku, Brian worked at Funny Or Die for nine years, most recently as SVP, Digital. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
