TFF 2015 Film Starring Richard Gere Finds Distributor

Samuel Goldwyn Films has scooped up the U.S. distribution rights to writer-director Andrew Renzi's feature debut Franny, starring Richard Gere, Dakota Fanning, and Theo James.

Gere delivers a bravura performance as the title character, a rich eccentric who worms his way into the lives of a deceased friend’s young daughter (Fanning) and her new husband (James). Franny, which made its World Premiere as one of the twelve films selected for the Festival's World Narrative Competition, sponsored by AKA, is a warm and winsome drama about the pangs of the past and the families we choose. Stay tuned for further release details!
