TFF 2014 Trailer of the Day: ‘Beneath the Harvest Sky’

Set in the far Northern part of Maine, this coming of age drama marks the narrative film debut of acclaimed documentarians Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly.

You’re a little fish in a big pond…gasping for air.

Featuring an all-star cast, Beneath the Harvest Sky tells the story of two best friends, Casper (Emory Cohen, The Place Beyond the Pines) and Dominic (Callan McCAuliffe), who are desperate to leave their hometown of VanBuren, Maine, for Boston where they can start life afresh. If only they had the funds.

While Dominic gets a job at the local potato farm, Casper joins his father (Aidan Gillen, Game of Thrones) in a drug smuggling business. Over the course of the summer, the teenagers’ paths diverge as they deal with adult problems in very different ways.
