Epic reunions and intimate, not-to-be-missed conversations will take center stage during the 17th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T and running April 18th to the 29th. Tribeca will celebrate the anniversaries of Brian De Palma's Scarface, Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List, and Alexandre Rockwell's In the Soup, bringing three cinematic treasures back to the big screen.

Winner of seven Oscars, Spielberg's masterpiece, Schindler’s List, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special post-screening conversation featuring Spielberg and actors Liam Neeson, Sir Ben Kingsley, Embeth Davidtz, and more. Scarface, one of the most referenced and revered films in pop culture, will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a screening and conversation featuring De Palma and actors Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. Anniversary celebrations of Schindler’s List and Scarface will take place at the Beacon Theatre; tickets go on sale tomorrow, March 20 at 10:00 AM. In the Soup, a New York indie gem, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with the first unveiling of its new 4K restoration, followed by a conversation with director Rockwell, actors Steve Buscemi, Jennifer Beals, and Sam Rockwell, and cinematographer Phil Parmet.

The Tribeca Talks program also returns this year and features an exciting lineup of discussions with acclaimed filmmakers, artists, entertainers, and icons. Groundbreaking filmmakers participating in the Tribeca Talks: Directors Series include Lesli Linka Glatter, Nancy Meyers, Laura Poitras, Alexander Payne, and Jason Reitman. Tribeca Talks: Storytellers, which spotlights creators who work across mediums, will feature multitalented entertainers like Alec Baldwin, Edward Burns, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx, Spike Lee, and John Legend. This year also marks the debut of Tribeca Talks: The Journey, which will feature an in-depth conversation with Sarah Jessica Parker about her career path across multiple sections of the industry.

Tribeca Talks: Master Class, focused on specific sectors of the artistic process, present Writing and Showrunning for TV featuring the prolific creatoive duo Robert and Michelle King and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah executive producers Steve Bodow and Jennifer Flanz. There will also be a Sound and Music Design for Film Master Class with Glenn Kiser, Director of the Dolby Institute.

Tribeca Talks: The Future of Film highlights the promising intersection of storytelling and technology, focusing on how innovations like Blockchain technology and Artificial Intelligence are influencing the industry. Rounding out the Talks program, and part of the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, is a conversation with the team from the 30 for 30 podcast series on bikram yoga.

John Legend

Celebrated singer, songwriter, actor, and producer, John Legend has been releasing billboard hits since his debut album Get Lifted in 2004. He has earned a total of ten Grammy Awards. Jamie Foxx

Prolific actor, musician, and comedian Jamie Foxx is a Hollywood triple threat. Perhaps his most iconic role as an actor, his portrayal of musician Ray Charles in the biopic Ray, landed him an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and a BAFTA in 2005. The very same year, Foxx was nominated for a second Oscar for his acting in the film Collateral.
