When IFC Films announced their acquisition of Victor Levin's 5 to 7  last week, we immediately thought back to our chat with 5 to 7 (and Dredd) star Olivia Thirlby on the TFF 2014  red carpet. 

Dredd fans will remember when Karl Urban called on them to help make the sequel a reality, which launched a fan generated online campaign with a petition and Facebook group. Thirlby mentioned that she was aware of the petition and joined Dredd fans in their hopes for a sequel by saying, "I have no idea whether it's a reality or not, but a girl can dream."
