What a week! We're gearing up for the Tribeca Film Festival (and so is everyone else), Stephen Colbert has been chosen as Letterman's Late Show successor, and Heartbleed, whatever that is, is going to ruin all of our lives. And that's not even the half of it! We truly have no time to waste, so let's get started:

• FX's sister site FXX has acquired the rights to seasons 1-24 of The Simpsons and plans to celebrate the show's cable debut with a 12-day Simpsons marathon. FX's chief executive Jon Landgraf claims it will be "the longest continuous marathon in the history of television." Your move, Twilight Zone! 

• Amazon Studios announced that production will begin next week on two new pilots, one of which—The Cosmopolitans—comes from Last Days of Disco and Metropolitan director Whit Stillman. 

• Single tickets to the Tribeca Film Festival go on sale to everyone Monday, April 14th, at 11AM. If you haven't yet, take a look at the schedule and plan your fest! 

• If the choices seem overwhelming, Vulture put together a list of their seven favorite documentaries and narratives showing at the Festival. 

• Complex (who says the "overall quality at Tribeca seems to be at its highest caliber yet") has collected their most anticipated films, as well, featuring selections like Time is Illmatic, Every Secret Thing, and Gabriel.

• Indiewire will publish profiles on all of the Tribeca Film Festival filmmakers ahead of the Festival's launch on April 16th. You can head there now to read what they've released so far! 

• "Oh, but I was actually hoping that you'd be able to steer me toward some of the horror films playing at TFF," you're thinking? Well, okay, daredevil! We've got you covered there, too! 

• In the most recent edition of Rookie's "Why Can't I Be You," New Yorker television critic Emily Nussbaum talks about her job, why she loves it, and why it (unfortunately) shouldn't be anyone's career goal. 

• Speaking of Emily Nussbaum, here she is speaking about the hugely influential, and soon-to-be nonexistent, TV criticism site Television Without Pity. 

• "As it turns out, stage productions are a hard thing to bring together.” Dave Itzkoff spoke with Michael Cera about bringing Kenneth Lonergan's This Is Our Youth back to the stage. 

• On Thursday, CBS released a statement saying that, in about eight months, Stephen Colbert would take Letterman's spot at Late Show. 

• It's lucky that Letterman is going to be replaced with someone else who has a popular late-night talk show. Now we still have something to speculate about! Here's Vulture on how Comedy Central might fill Colbert's spot, and other questions surrounding his departure.

• In anticipation of the newly-announced Tina Fey and Amy Poehler project The Nest, which follows two adult sisters as they throw one final party at their parents' house, Molly Lambert shares her ten favorite female film fuck ups for Grantland.

So when he writes, of the “catastrophic bug” known as Heartbleed, 'On the scale of 1 to 10, this is an 11,' it’s safe to conclude that the Internet has a serious problem." Rusty Foster tells us about the terrifying Heartbleed bug, which has forced us to change nearly all of our passwords, in terms we can almost understand.

• Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have a made a deal with 20th Century Fox to write and direct an adaptation of the prison escape novel Dirty White Boys.
