Watch: Funniest Moments From The Cast of New 'Ghostbusters'

By now, everyone's heard of the Ghostbusters reboot with an all-female cast featuring Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones. With the director/writer combination behind The Heat, Paul Feig and Kate Dippoldat the helm, the reboot is set to be next summer's favorite comedy. Feig, Wiig, and McCarthy reunite after 2011's wildly successful Bridesmaids. All of the ladies confirmed for the reboot bring their respected careers in comedy to the table, let's take a look at some of their best work.

In last week's episode of SNL, Kate McKinnon reprised her Justin Bieber for this parody of the young star's Calvin Klein commercial. For comparison, check out the original ad, which is not all that different from SNL's version. We can't decide what's funnier - the fake tattoos, or the physical comedy.

Kate McKinnon regularly goofs on Bieber, and recently shared the secret to her impression on with Conan O'Brien - it involves puppy dog eyes.

She'll be joined by her SNL co-star Leslie Jones, a newcomer whose addition as the second black female cast member graciously relieved Keenan Thompson from wearing a dress every season. McKinnon plays an elderly guest/objector in this skit with Jones and guest host Martin Freeman, where a mismatched couple is trying to get through a wedding ceremony.

In  another SNL collaboration among future Ghostbusters co-stars, Kristen Wiig helps Melissa McCarthy with her first SNL monologue. Melissa McCarthy was so visibly excited during this bit, breathlessly putting her kids to bed before going into an extended dance sketch with co-star Kristen Wiig. The Wiig-McCarthy combo, which works so well in this scene is likely to be a major selling point for the upcoming reboot.

In her nine years as an SNL cast member, Wiig has performed a variety of impressions to demonstrate her range as a comic actress. Crowd favorites include Suze Orman, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Nancy Pelosi, but they're just as good as her one-time role as a trainwreck Cinderella in "The Real Housewives of Disney."  With guest host Lindsay Lohan as newcomer Rapunzel and other equally messy characters from the Disney universe, this sketch is the reality series you never knew you needed.

As of now, the movie is projected for release in Summer 2016. The project featuring the original cast derailed after Harold Ramis's tragic passing early last year. This version with an all-female cast and a female writer to boot is expected to break any doubts about female-driven blockbusters. With so much promising talent on board, no level of excitement seems too premature.
