The SOURCE360 series at BAMcinématek, an homage to the music magazine that launched a thousand careers, kicks off this Friday, September 19. The hip-hop magazine has chronicled the music, politics, and culture of a generation for 25 years and BAM will honor its work for a weekend with screenings featuring some of the magazine's most prolific alumni. 

If you're a Nas fan, you're in luck! Director One9 and screenwriter Erik Parker will introduce a very special screening of Nas: Time is Illmatic at the series on Friday night (tickets are currently on stand-by). The slate also includes the Biggie biopic Notorious, Michel Gondry's documentary of Dave Chappelle's Block Party, and The Man with the Iron Fists from Wu-tang's RZA. We hope to see you there!
