Acclaimed Mexican Thriller From 2011 Finally Gets its Day in the Sun

One would think that a well-reviewed, high-octane Mexican crime thriller that made its world premiere at Cannes in 2011 and later racked up eight Ariel Awards (i.e. the Mexican "Oscars") the following year would have found its way stateside a hell of a lot of earlier, but alas...

Regardless of this dubious inconsistency, Everardo Valerio Gout's Days of Grace is finally making its American debut in limited release (including New York City's AMC Empire 25) this weekend and is premiering on HBO Latino tonight at 8 PM.

Don't let a four-year delay deter you from checking out this stylish, spine-tingling national study that's already received solid reviews from both the New York and L.A. Times.
