Henry Buhl had a vision to expand this concept to the entire neighborhood, serving two purposes: providing jobs for the homeless and providing community improvement services to the neighborhood. Recognizing the link between recovery and employment, Henry designed a program, which would reintroduce clients into society by equipping them with practical job skills and acclimating them to the workforce.
