Tribeca Film, in partnership with American Express®, brings you the best of independent film (including titles from the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival) wherever you are.
Not only does today mark the start of the 10th Tribeca Film Festival, but it is also the first day the new slate of Tribeca Film movies will become available On Demand in over 40 million homes across the country. (Look for your cable/satellite/telco provider here.)
What does this mean for you? It means you can watch films from Tribeca whereever you are.
What’s playing?
Tribeca Film On Demand starts today with six films, including four that are screening at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. (Click each title for all the details.) New titles will appear every six to eight weeks year round.

Organize a ‘live viewing’ of a particular title with your friends on social media
Celebrities are doing it. Politicians are doing it. It seems these days you’re not participating in something cool unless you’re live-tweeting or posting updates to Facebook about it while it’s happening. So... organize with a few friends, sync up on the time that you’re going to watch, and let the dialogue begin! It doesn’t matter if you’re in Boston and your friends are in Denver, San Francisco, or Austin—you’ll all be watching the film together.
Plan a ‘movie date night’ without leaving the house
Sometimes life just gets too busy, and try as you might, you and your significant other haven’t made it to a movie theater in months. Don’t fret! You can plan a date night in your own living room and see a new release before it’s in theaters. Or you can invite your friends over for a movie night and make your own popcorn.
