Thought-provoking and controversial, Catherine Hardwicke’s films have helped shape and challenge popular culture. Her directorial debut Thirteen garnered numerous awards and nominations including the Director’s Award at Sundance (2003) and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Holly Hunter. Hardwicke has since become best known as the director of Twilight, which launched the blockbuster franchise. Hardwicke’s latest film, Miss You Already, stars Drew Barrymore, Toni Collette and Jacqueline Bisset. She recently directed the video for Lady Gaga and Diane Warren’s Oscar-nominated song, “Til It Happens to You,” for the documentary The Hunting Ground. Hardwicke has directed TV episodes for shows like Hell on Wheels and Reckless and is currently developing an original series.
