Storytelling began as an oral tradition. It has since evolved to become an artistic, literary, theatrical, and cinematic expression. The advent of Virtual Reality and immersive storytelling provides another platform for artists to tell their stories. This conversation with highlight the artists who have taken their projects through various iterations and mediums, all the while pushing the boundaries and limits of their work. Jessica Brillhart, an immersive pioneer known primarily as a VR filmmaker, is bringing the World Premiere of her audio AR experience Into the Light, as a selection of the Virtual Arcade. She will join Kane Lee, Head of Content, Baobab Studios, here this year with Bonfire, yet another evolution of their ever expanding roster of groundbreaking projects, and celebrated storyteller Tamara Shogaolu, whose 2019 Storyscapes selection, Another Dream, is a piece of a medium spanning trilogy. Moderated by Loren Hammonds, Senior Programmer Film & Immersive at the Tribeca Film Festival.
