This event offers a deep dive into AI filmmaking production, featuring three short films made with Flow: Freelancers by Dave Clark, Dear Stranger by Junie Lau, and Electric Pink by Henry Daubrez. The event is hosted by Matthew Carey, Director, Google Creative Lab, and Bryce Norbitz, Senior Director of Artist Programs at Tribeca Studio.

Junie Lau is a film director and multidisciplinary creative deeply passionate about innovation, viewing AI as a vital collaborator in expanding the boundaries of creative expression. “Dear Stranger" is a film which explores the boundless and infinite nature of universal love between a grandmother and grandchild across countless parallel worlds.

Dave Clark
Dave Clark is an award-winning filmmaker focused on embracing new technology as part of his filmmaking. His newest film “Freelancers” uses Google’s AI tools to tell the story of two estranged adopted brothers on similar quests.

Henry Daubrez
Henry Daubrez has been using tech tools in his art for the last 18 years, and now he is bringing the story of his creative journey to life in “Electric Pink”.

Matthew Carey
Matthew Carey leads experimental teams inside Google Creative Lab to shape cutting-edge AI research into tools to expand human creativity. His team of filmmakers, technologists, writers and designers were central to designing Flow and Flow TV and creating hundreds of first of their kind clips, scenes and stories to inspire a new wave of storytelling.

Bryce Norbitz is the Senior Director of Artist Programs at Tribeca Studios where she empowers creators through year-round creative incubators, film production programs and learning series.
