Sixty-five million years ago, a meteor collided with Earth and wiped out 75 percent of the planet's living species. When Ted and Maureen Biehn receive a phone call that their daughter has been hit by a car, two tragedies begin to intertwine, changing the family forever.

Born and raised in northern Germany, Malona Voigt graduated from Smith College in 2002 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Film. She has directed and produced documentaries, shorts, and music videos, including the documentary Namaste, shot in Kathmandu, Nepal, which screened at the Ladyfest East in New York City. Voigt recently completed her M.F.A. at USC and is currently working on Warner Bros.' Poseidon, which is slated for release in May 2006.
