Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards

| USA | English
Tribeca Film Festival, in association with Harvard's Professor Clayton Christensen (The Innovator's Dilemma) and the Disruptor Foundation, presents its Third Annual Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards, hosted by the NYU Stern School of Business.

Christensen's Disruptive Innovation Theory explains how simpler, cheaper technologies, products, and services can decimate industry leaders. This radical innovation theory has ruled Silicon Valley for 15 years.

2011 honorees ranged from Wikipedia's Jimmy Wales to Keith Richards to DARPA. 2012 Lifetime Achievement Honorees are Jack Dorsey (founder of Twitter and Square) and John Wood (founder of Room to Read). Honorees include Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun, MITx, Stanford University, filmmakers Tiffany Shlain (Connected) and Edward Burns (Newlyweds), and more.
