Reza Hemmatirad (b. 1974, Umriye, Iran) graduated from Tehran Fine Arts University. He worked for IRIB as a set, light, and decoration designer and later for Abanous Animation, Tehran Film, and Jarfa Film as an art director and character designer. In Turkey, he helped illustrate nearly 100 children's books. He now runs Sahra Art & Production, based in Istanbul.
