Athens-born Nicolas Panoutsopoulos graduated from the National Technical University before studying film directing at the Hatzikou Film School. He then attended the California Institute of the Arts on a Greek state scholarship. While there, he was an assistant director, production manager, film correspondent, and critic for Greek publications. His short documentaries have aired on Hellenic Public Broadcasting (ERT). Currently, he is directing commercials while developing his first feature.
