JT Takagi recently served as a producer and director on the Call for Change series. Her PBS films include North Korea: Beyond the DMZ, Homeland Insecurity, The Women Outside, The #7 Train, and Homes Apart: Korea. A CUNY adjunct professor, Takagi holds an Emmy® nomination in sound for Four Little Girls and a C.A.S. nomination for production mixing on Sweet Honey in the Rock: Raise Your Voice. She just completed fellowships with the Open Society Institute and NYFA.
