FIERCE PEOPLE

Finn (Anton Yelchin) is all set to join his anthropologist father in South America for the summer when he has a brush with the law, and his massage therapist mother (Diane Lane) sweeps him out of the city. They escape to an estate owned by an eccentric millionaire, Mr. Osborne (Donald Sutherland). Finn immediately falls in with Osborne's grandchildren (Chris Evans, Kristen Stewart) and the maid (Paz de la Huerta). Elizabeth Perkins rounds out the cast as Osborne's daughter, a bored rich suburbanite who gets through her days drinking vodka out of soda cans to hide her addiction from people who aren't fooled. All the worries Finn and his mother had in New York vanish. But soon the idyllic compound turns from safe haven into dangerous territory, when Finn is brutally attacked and it becomes apparent to both Finn and his mother that they are pawns in a game being playing by people who are far wealthier, and odder than they ever imagined.
