M. Cassidy Mosher
Cassidy Mosher is the costume designer of this year's Permission. Past credits include Out of My Hand, nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and picked up by Ava Duvernay's Array. A short film designed by her, Goldenstate, premiered at the 2013 Cannes Festival. Other credits include Gossip Girl, Red Oaks, and various Marvel shows. Cassidy studied fashion design at Fashion Institute of Technology and Pratt. She is also working on a clothing design company based in Michigan, and has expanded into jewelry, under the name Rust From Stars @rustfromstars.
Kemal Harris
Kemal Harris has been obsessed with fashion since age four. Her mother’s bohemian-style vintage clothing collection and her father’s rock’n’roll lifestyle inspired her to pursue studies in fashion design, which inevitably led to her becoming an in-demand freelance stylist. Her red carpet clients include Robin Wright, Alexis Bledel, and Kate Mckinnon. In 2014, Kemal added “Costume Designer” to her resume, developing custom-made wardrobe for her client Robin Wright’s character “Claire Underwood” on the hit Netflix series House of Cards. She’s since been nominated for two consecutive Costume Designer’s Guild Awards for her work continued work on the series.
Kweighbaye Kotee
Kweighbaye Kotee is Founder & CEO of Bushwick Film Festival (BFF) and host/creator of Indie Cinema New York (ICNY) on BRIC TV. Now in its 10th year, BFF is hailed as one of Brooklyn’s most celebrated events; recognized for contributing to the borough’s artistic and economic growth. ICNY invites industry leaders to discuss upcoming film releases and events. Recent guests included Oscar® Winner Caroline Waterlow and Oscar® Nominee Raoul Peck. Born in Liberia, Kotee received her B.S. from NYU. She has since been featured in Huffington Post, Fox News, Brooklyn Magazine, Indiewire and Tribeca Film.
Anne Ross
Anne Ross most recently was the Production Designer and Executive Producer on Sofia Coppola’s film The Beguiled. She has previously collaborated with writer/director Sofia Coppola as production designer of Focus Features’ Lost in Translation, for which she was an Art Directors Guild Award nominee, and Somewhere, The Bling Ring, and A Very Murray Christmas. Ms. Ross’s production design credits include Gus Van Sant’s Restless, Noah Baumbach’s The Squid and the Whale and Margot at the Wedding, Zach Braff’s Going in Style, starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alain Arkin, Natalie Portman’s short Eve, Jim Taylor’s short, The Lost Cause, and music videos for such artists as R.E.M., The Strokes, and Air. She has also designed commercials for Cartier, Dior, Calvin Klein, and Adidas; her spot for Citibank won an Emmy® award for Outstanding Commercial.
Beacon Theatre
The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
