Originally from London, James Latimer is a Tokyo-based bilingual filmmaker with a background in European literature. Having worked as director of photography in commercials and feature-length narrative film, Latimer now directs narrative film and hybrid documentaries, focusing on culturally aware and visually captivating stories to connect Japan to the world.
