Damon Russell graduated from Georgia State University. In 2012, he directed the critically acclaimed film, Snow On Tha Bluff, about real-life Atlanta crack dealer, Curtis Snow. Russell then produced the 2013 Oscar®-winning short, Curfew going on to produce the feature version titled Before I Disappear.
