A Time and A Time is a short film made entirely from archive footage shot in three specific locations in Bristol over the past 100 years. Films and photographs across time are combined to create new scenes where contemporary shoppers mingle with people that walked that same street a century earlier.

Sarah Cox studied animation at the Royal College of Art. Her short 3 Ways to Go won for best film less than 10 minutes at the British Animation Awards, Plain Pleasures won a Silver Dove at Leipzig, and Heavy Pockets was nominated for the short animation BAFTA in 2005. She established the commercial firm ArthurCox in 2002.
