Billy Porter is an Emmy, Tony and Grammy award-winning actor, singer, director, producer, composer, and playwright, best known for FX’s Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated drama “Pose” and Broadway’s Kinky Boots.

Rush will be offered when advanced tickets for a screening or event are no longer available at venues other than Beacon Theatre. The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.

Billy Porter

Billy Porter is an award-winning actor, singer, director, producer, composer, and playwright. He won the Emmy Award for Lead Actor for his appearance in FX’s Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated drama Pose. Porter has numerous theater credits, including the role of “Lola” in the Broadway musical Kinky Boots, for which he won the Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle awards, as well as the Grammy for best musical-theater album. Upcoming, he will star in Our Son alongside Luke Evans and direct a queer teen comedy titled To Be Real. Porter released his first literary project, Unprotected, in October 2021, which was published by Abrams Press. Porter recently released his single “Baby Was A Dancer” under his record deal with Island Records (UK) and Republic Records (US).
