Nick Offerman Brings the Funny to Both Coasts

If you're in San Francisco or Brooklyn, here's your chance to see Nick Offerman live and in person, doing Q&As after select screenings of 'Somebody Up There Likes Me.'

From San Francisco to Brooklyn, Nick Offerman and his new film are making moves. For the past year, Offerman has been entertaining the masses through his comedy tours across the country. The Parks and Recreation star is now touring with his new film, Somebody Up There Likes Medirected by writer-director (and Austinite) Bob Byington.

The film follows the life of 35 year old Max Youngman (Keith Poulson), his only friend Sal (Offerman), and the woman (Jess Weixler) that holds both of their affection. Aided with a score from Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio, Somebody Up There Likes Me sold out shows in both Chicago and LA this month.

If you West Coast-ers missed him at Cinefamily (with special guests Jason Schwartzman, Chris Pratt and Megan Mullally) last weekend, your next chance to see Offerman in action is at the Roxie in San Francisco. Somebody Up There Likes Me starts at the famed theater this Friday, March 22nd with Offerman in person for Q&As after all showtimes on Saturday, March 23rd.

Next weekend, Offerman swaps coasts to wrap up the month at BAM for both evening showings of Somebody Up There Likes Me on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th. And as if Offerman wasn’t already enough, actor Keith Poulson, director Bob Byington, and composer Chris Baio will be particpating in select Q&As.

And if the couch is more your speed, Somebody Up There Likes Me is available On Demand and  through digital platforms, including Amazon and iTunes
