We’re so used to seeing iconic brands like The Michelin Man, the Starbucks Mermaid and even Apple that we don’t look twice. For his first solo show ever, Bruce Yan came up with the brilliant idea of merging these kinds of iconic brands with pop culture figures.
Yan takes such famous logos as the Starbucks Mermaid, Morton Salt’s Umbrella Girl, the Apple apple and even the Michelin Man and inserts famous animated figures from Disney and Studio Ghibli for a fresh new take on standard branding. Enjoy selections from Yan’s clever artwork below.
