DJ Z-Trip will be performing his original production to accompany the classic 1928 silent film Speedy. The new restoration from the Criterion Collection features Harold Lloyd as a financially challenged die-hard Yankees fan who is determined to save the last horse-drawn trolley in New York from being run out of business by a greedy railroad executive. The very NYC affair features visits to Coney Island and Yankee Stadium, an incredible cameo by Babe Ruth, and hair-raising cab rides through the city streets. A must-see for New Yorkers who think they've seen the worst that public transportation can offer.
Z-Trip, a mashup pioneer with production credits across all genres, will bring his expertise to Spring Studios on April 22 for this live accompaniment to the silent film classic.
