“We are eager for people in Los Angeles to be able to see this vibrant and eclectic collection of films,” said Geoff Gilmore, Chief Creative Officer of Tribeca Enterprises. “At this important time of transition in the independent film business, the creation of Tribeca Film has enabled us to advance the dialogue around the ways that films are experienced helping filmmakers reach audiences and provide them access to films they would not otherwise see. And we’re delighted that our partners at Laemmle have offered a home as great as the legendary Sunset 5, where so many outstanding films over the years have entered the spotlight.”

The collective list of films features star turns from a variety of stars of independent and mainstream film: Andy Serkis (Gollum from The Lord of the Rings), Jay Baruchel (Tropic Thunder), Academy Award® nominee Juliette Lewis (Cape Fear, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape) and Alexander Skarsgård (HBO’s True Blood). The documentary Climate of Change is narrated by Academy Award® winner Tilda Swinton.

From the West Side to the West Coast, we are confident Tribeca Film has something for everyone!
