In the thirty years since The Simpsons first debuted, the satirical cartoon has become the very center of popular culture; a juggernaut that is ingrained in the cultural fabric of America. In the three decades it has been on the air, the show has influenced popular culture, media and politics by brilliantly and incisively depicting the ridiculous pageant of American society. Following a screening of the episodes Marge vs the Monorail and The Day the Earth Stood Cool, the creative team of The Simpsons will come together to celebrate the immeasurable legacy of the longest-running animated series in television history.

Harry Shearer

As Spinal Tap’s Derek Smalls, HARRY SHEARER is also a founding cast member on THE SIMPSONS Shearer’s screen and stage career includes collaborations with Christopher Guest, roles in numerous Hollywood movies, Off-Broadway and London’s West End. Twice a regular on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, he created the comedy drama NIXON’S THE ONE and, as a child, was on THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM. Shearer directed the critically acclaimed documentary THE BIG UNEASY A prolific broadcaster, LE SHOW celebrates 35 years, Shearer is also a satirical songwriter and earlier this year Derek Smalls released his solo album “SMALLS CHANGE”

Matt Groening

Matt Groening’s creation is the longest-running scripted show in TV history. It remains one of the most innovative franchises, recognizable throughout the world. It has spawned a hit feature film and a revolutionary virtual coaster ride at Universal Studios. He created the Emmy-winning series Futurama. Groening began his Life in Hell weekly comic strip series in 1980. In 1993 he formed Bongo Comics Group and remains publisher. Honors: Multiple Emmy Awards Peabody Award Annie Awards Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year 2012 received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Groening is working on the second season of his animated series Disenchantment.

James L. Brooks

James L. Brooks: three-time Academy Award-winner; eighteen-time Emmy Award-winner. Television credits: Taxi, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda, Lou Grant , Room 222, The Tracy Ullman Show, The Simpsons , The Critic Phenom, What About Joan. His Film credits include: Teleplay for Starting Over ; Wrote, produced, directed Terms of Endearment; Wrote, produced, directed Broadcast News; Executive produced Say Anything; Produced War of the Roses; Co-produced Big; Directed I'll Do Anything; Executive produced Bottle Rocket; Produced Jerry Maguire; Co-wrote, produced, directed As Good As It Gets; Produced Riding in Cars with Boys; Wrote, directed Spanglish; Co-wrote, produced The Simpsons Movie; Wrote, directed How Do You Know; Produced Edge of Seventeen ; Produced the HBO film Icebox.

Matt Selman

Writer/producer Matt Selman has worked on THE SIMPSONS for 20 seasons. He currently serves as an Executive Producer, and was one of the writers on THE SIMPSONS MOVIE. He has won five Emmys and a Writers Guild of America Award. Selman grew up in Watertown, Massachusetts, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993. He wrote on SEINFELD before starting at THE SIMPSONS in 1997. Selman has written jokes for many animated movies, including KUNG FU PANDA, DESPICABLE ME and THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.

Al Jean

EP/showrunner Al Jean has a credit on over 600 episodes and been showrunner for 20 seasons. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry.
