Thanks to her brother and sister, Ashleigh Bell has been immersed in and inspired by the film industry from a young age. She took her first venture into film production when she was just 17, however personal circumstance gave way to a professional hiatus in 2008, returning to filmmaking in 2013. With a passion for writing, this year Ashleigh seeks to write and direct her first short film, with the unwavering goal of becoming a feature director firmly set in her sights. Ashleigh currently works as a production assistant in New York.
Matt Amato is co-founder of The Masses and has directed music videos for such artists as Beach House, Bon Iver, Daughn Gibson, Soko, Wild Nothing, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Barbra Streisand, Mia Doi Todd, Dido, and many more. Recently, Matt returned to his hometown of St. Louis to direct his first movie, The Makings Of You, starring Sheryl Lee, Jay R. Ferguson, and Grace Zabriskie. Matt is pleased to participate as creative consultant and exec. producer on I Am Heath Ledger as it puts focus on Heath’s creative flair with the camera, a passion they shared.
Former film publicist for Paramount Pictures and Universal Studio’s (Australia), Kate lives in Perth with her husband Nathan and their identical twin girls, Rorie and Scarlett. As well as writing children’s books, Kate also creates, markets and develops commercial concepts, greeting cards, licensing and design for her company Mintie Moo Productions. She also has a passion for interior decor and personal styling which led to the creation of ‘Mintie By Design’. Kate loves travel, film, fashion and music. Her favorite thing to do, is cook and spend time with her family.
Jess Cagle is Editor in Chief of People and Editorial Director of Time Inc.’s Style and Entertainment Group, which includes People, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, PeopleStyle, People en Espanol and Essence. Cagle oversees editorial content across all platforms reaching a combined audience of over 150 million. He hosts The Jess Cagle Interview; a video series with revealing interviews from major stars airing on all platforms of People and Entertainment Weekly. It also airs weekly on SiriusXM’s EW Radio channel. Cagle makes regular appearances as co-host on ABC’s Academy Awards® red-carpet pre-show and appears on Good Morning America, Today and other news programs.
When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
