The film follows the life of Sophia, who's near her end. Through dance performance the film sheds light on the many faces of love, life, and the pressures we place upon ourselves, and that others places upon us. This is a story of courage, perseverance, and the strength to endure all other obstacles.

About the Director(s)
Mitsuyo Miyazaki's directorial thesis film Tsuyako won 43 awards including Best Female Filmmaker at the DGA Student Awards and the Future Filmmakers Award. The film qualified for the Oscars two years in a row. Currently she’s developing her first feature script.

RUSH SALES POLICY

When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
