Esteemed Casting Directors Ellen Lewis and Ellen Chenoweth have worked with some of the greatest directors including Martin Scorsese, Mike Nichols, Jim Jarmusch, the Coen Brothers, George Clooney and Stephen Spielberg. They will divulge the process of casting and discovering some of today’s most recognizable faces. Moderated by Bernard Telsey.

Ellen Lewis
Establishing herself in the casting industry early on working for Juliet Taylor, Ellen Lewis has amassed a plethora of credits working on such distinguished projects as Forrest Gump, The Devil Wears Prada, Charlie Wilson’s War, Mamma Mia!, Her, Angels In America (HBO film) and The Leftovers (pilot). She has successfully maintained a working relationship with Martin Scorsese for 25 years, contributing to Goodfellas, Casino, The Departed, Hugo, and Vinyl (pilot) to name a few. Ellen has received the NY Women in Film & Television Muse Award and the Hoyt Bowers Award from the Casting Society of America. She has been nominated for three Emmy Awards and thirteen Artios awards, winning three for A League Of Their Own, Boardwalk Empire and The Wolf Of Wall Street.

Ellen Chenoweth
Ellen Chenoweth is a prominent American casting director. For her second film, Barry Levinson's Diner, she cast many of the then relatively unknown actors such as Steve Guttenberg, Daniel Stern, Mickey Rourke, Kevin Bacon, Tim Daly, Paul Reiser, and Ellen Barkin. A year later, she helped cast the Academy Award-winning film Terms of Endearment. She was also the casting director for films such as Good Night, and Good Luck, No Country for Old Men, Doubt, Michael Clayton, True Grit, Burn After Reading and Men in Black 3.

Bernard Telsey
Telsey serves as the NY Vice President of the Casting Society of America and on the Board of Governors for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Credits include: Rent, Wicked, Hairspray, Hamilton; Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, The Intern, Into the Woods, Margin Call; Grease! Live, Masters of Sex.

When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
