DEEP VR is a meditative and psychoactive VR experience, controlled by the player’s breathing. Discover a beautiful underwater seascape where the world challenges, surprises, and comforts. Co-creator Owen Harris made this game to deal with his own issues with anxiety; it’s a fascinating glimpse into how VR can be used in a variety of different ways, including connecting us to our bodies and minds. About the Director(s)
Niki Smit is co-founder and designer of PLAY at artcollective Monobanda PLAY. Monobanda aims to explore and expand the boundaries of play and interaction. Working on both commissioned projects and independent projects, they focus heavily on researching and developing news forms of play and meaningful creativity. Owen Harris is a game designer, lecturer and lover of all things playful. He sits on the Imirt Board, and runs the local event dubLUDO. His mission is to bring about an increased awareness of the value of playfulness in everyday life.

When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
