Everyone's nightmare visit to the dentist becomes a reality in this film by Signe Baumane, who has collaborated with Bill Plympton on numerous films. She is also a New York Foundation for the Arts Film Fellow and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
About the Director(s)
Born in Latvia, Signe Baumane holds a BA in Philosophy from Moscow University. While an animator at Riga's Animated Film Studio, she made Tiny Shoes, winner of the 1995 International Women's Film Festival Grand Prix award. Soon after, she moved to New York, where she collaborated with Bill Plympton on numerous films. A 2005 New York Foundation for the Arts Film Fellow, Baumane is also member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
