For the past fifteen years, a group of high school buddies from Everett, Washington compete in an annual strongman competition that combines physical strength, endurance and beer chugging. A sports documentary for the beer-guzzling weekend warrior in all of us.

About the Director(s)

Scott Allen Perry got his start in the independent film world with his 2002 debut film, Side Effects, which garnered several awards at film festival, including Best Short Film and the Grand Jury Prize at the 2002 DEADCENTER Film Festival. The following year Perry was one of ten finalists in the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival sponsored by Chrysler, Hypnotic, and Universal Studios. At the festival, Perry directed his second film, 008, which has received critical praise and has been featured in film festivals throughout North America. His third film, Perfect Couple, was made for the 2003 L.A. 24-Hour Film Competition, in which all films are written, shot, and edited in 24 hours. Perfect Couple nearly swept the competition, winning Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, and a nomination for Best Actor. The Outdoorsmen: Blood, Sweat & Beers is Perry's feature debut.

When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
