Based on the Caldecott Medal-winning book, this is the true story of Philippe Petit, a young French aerialist, and his daring 1974 high wire walk between the two towers of the World Trade Center. Narrated by Jake Gyllenhaal.
About the Director(s)
Michael Sporn has been animating professionally since 1972. After working with animation directors John and Faith Hubley and Richard Williams, he formed his own company in 1980. The studio produces children's book adaptations, which exactly reproduce the illustrators' styles, and adaptations of other tales, designed in the studio, as well as original films and videos.
