Men Without Jobs

| USA | 108 MINUTES | English

Roommates Ish and Oz are good guys. They just haven't quite figured out the game of life. Oz is a great cook, struggles a little bit with a gambling problem, and is trying to look presentable so that he can get his little girl back into his life. Ish listens to music, paints, and dreams of starting a hip-hop band. Both men are dreamers, living in the big city, thinking that the good life is just around the corner -- if they can only continue to do the right thing. The wonderful thing about Mad Matthewz' Men without Jobs is that Ish and Oz are real, relatable characters, struggling with the same life decisions that all of us have to face. These aren't caricatures of kids trying to make it, looking for a quick score and a fast deal. They believe that their talents, and their heart, will pull them through. Enhanced by a soundtrack that accentuates Ish's love for the musical passions he inherited from his father, Men Without Jobs is an ode to the everyday struggles and triumphs of "good guys" all over the world.
