• Uma Thurman joined writer/director Katherine Dieckmann for
   a special advanced screening of Motherhood, followed by a
   Q&A discussion and cocktail reception
• Animal lovers Dennis Leary, Abigail Breslin, Cindy Adams 
  and Rachel Roy along with their dogs joined Jane Rosenthal
  for a very special “pet friendly” reception and screening of
  Marley and Me
• Executive producer Harvey Weinstein, director Stephen Daldry
   and actress Lena Olin engaged in a lively Q&A with Variety’s
   Dade Hayes to discuss the Golden-Globe nominated Film The
   Reader
• Slumdog Millionaire co-directors Danny Boyle and Loveleen
   Tandan joined screenwriter Simon Beautoy and co-stars
   Dev Patel and Freida Pinto for a special screening and panel,
   followed by a reception to celebrate the Academy Award
   winning film
• Director Michel Gondry led a Q&A after Be Kind Rewind, and
   cast members Mia Farrow, Sigourney Weaver and Danny
   Glover attended the post-party and related art exhibit at
   nearby Deitch Projects
