Alex Karpovsky's Tips on Low Budget Filmmaking

"Anyone in this room, if they have 40 friends, can get their Kickstarter (funded)."

Alex Karpovsky (Girls, Rubberneck, Red Flag) attests that low budget filmmaking is a great and realistic way for directors to get their ideas out there, and gives tips on using Kickstarter and the newest cameras. He tells the Tribeca Cinemas audience watching his February 11 Future of Film interview with Filmmaker Mag's Nick Dawson that "if you want to make films, the excuses are definitely running out on you."
