Tribeca Flashpoint: Production-in-Action
Tribeca Flashpoint students make a study out of marketing for non-profits.
Production-In-Action, TFA's cornerstone project-based course, is always an exciting time for first-year students; but this semester there's more at stake than ever, and we couldn't be more thrilled to see our students put their great work toward a good cause.

Campaign for a Cause, our Spring 2012 PIA, aims to raise money for each of five worthy charities:
—Fisher House Foundation
—Music Saves Lives
—Shirts for a Cure
—To Write Love on Her Arms

Through social media, games, video PSAs, and live events, each student-led team will create a professional-caliber marketing campaign to encourage contributions to their cause. As donation totals go up, so will a team's chance of wooing our three judges: each of whom will award an additional $2,500 to their favorite team’s charity.

To help them learn a little more about fundraising for a charitable organization, students have met with representatives from our five PIA charities, both in-person and via Skype. They also got some face time with Deborah Dugan, Chief Executive Officer at (RED), who video conferenced in at the end of the week.
Now, with roughly ten days to go, students are hard at work creating the assets that will spread awareness, promote understanding, and inspire generosity within our communities and beyond.
Visit the Campaign for a Cause page on Crowdrise to learn more about what our students have been up to and make your contribution today!
