Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop

Lamb Chop is the sock-puppet sheep created by comedian and ventriloquist Shari Lewis. Before children’s television turned to mostly animation, Shari Lewis had her own musical-comedy television show. A twelve-time Emmy Award winner, Lewis wrote more than 30 children’s books. In conjunction with Classic Media Inc., we’ll present one of the original episodes of The Shari Lewis Show, along with an episode of Lamb Chop’s Play-Along.
 
Post-screening activity: Following Lamb Chop, children will see a puppeteer in action and learn about the magic of ventriloquism.

Your children will be thankful you introduced them to this 80s classic coming-of-age story about courage and friendship. (Drew Barrymore [above] also stars.)
