ESPN Films recently announced the launch of 30 for 30 Podcasts, a new series of original, high-quality sports stories in the likeness of the acclaimed 30 for 30 documentaries, but made exclusively for audio. Producers Jody Avirgan, Julia Henderson and Andrew Mambo discuss their approach to telling a compelling story in audio form, and share exclusive clips from two upcoming podcasts, scheduled to launch in June.

Two of the topics that will be featured in the first season of 30 for 30 Podcasts will be: “Dan and Dave Revisited,” the true story of the massive 1990’s marketing campaign around the world’s two best decathletes, and the announcement of “Yankees Suck,” the story of the world’s most famous bootleg t-shirt and the wild guys who started the craze.
